Christine Beggs works on  Education Programs at the USG.  Her work with AGE Africa has included program development, monitoring and evaluation, grant writing and communications. Previously, Christine served as a Senior Research Analyst for Education and Evaluation at USAID, and Senior Project Director at the Academy for Educational (AED) development in Washington D.C. focusing on girls’ post-primary education and school-to-work transitions.

Prior to joining AED and her work with AGE Africa, Christine focused on program development for primary education programs in rural Mali with an emphasis on participatory, strength-based approaches. Previously, Christine held the position of Principal and Practice Director for a Chicago-based consultancy. She holds a BA in International Political Science (summa cum laude) from DePaul University and a MA in International Affairs from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
