Give Your Way
The beauty of giving to AGE Africa is that it doesn't take much to make a big difference. Even a small donation can go a long way in transforming a young girl's life. As a lean and focused organization, we pledge that every dollar you donate will be directed straight to where it's needed most – on the ground, providing immediate assistance to a bright and ambitious girl who simply needs a little help.
We understand that giving is a personal act, and we want you to feel good every time you make a gift. That's why we offer several methods for you to choose from, allowing you to select the one that resonates most with you.
So join us today. Make a gift. Make a difference. And from all of us at AGE Africa, thank you. Your generosity is changing lives and shaping futures.
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
A donor-advised fund combines favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. Think of it like a philanthropic savings account: you contribute to the fund whenever it suits you to reduce your tax burden, then recommend grants to organizations like AGE Africa on your own timeline. DAFs are a simple way to grow your giving and make a lasting impact on girls’ education in Malawi.
Stock Donator
We’re excited to announce that we now accept stock donations through Stock Donator! Donating stocks is a powerful way to support AGE Africa while also enjoying financial and tax benefits. By donating appreciated securities, you help us receive the full value of your gift, allowing us to use every dollar for our mission, without the loss of transaction costs. It’s a simple, efficient way to contribute assets you already own, and your donation will leave a lasting legacy of your generosity and commitment to our cause.
Employer Matched Giving
At AGE Africa, we believe in the power of community and shared goals. We're proud to be recognized as an approved NGO by many corporate matching programs, which can significantly amplify the impact of your generosity.
We encourage you to check if your company has a matching gift program. Many organizations offer these programs as part of their commitment to social responsibility, and they can double or even triple the value of your donation
We invite you to join us in making a difference. Check with your HR department today to see if your company offers a matching gift program. Together, let's empower these young women and build a brighter future for them.
Required Minimum Distributions
If you're over 70½ years old and searching for a tax-wise method to support AGE Africa, consider using Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from your IRA. This strategy allows you to donate up to $105,000 directly to eligible charities each year without counting as taxable income, bypassing required minimum distributions that could raise your tax bracket. Suitable for traditional IRAs, inherited IRAs, and inactive SEP and SIMPLE IRAs, this approach must be executed by December 31 of the tax year to count towards your annual distribution requirements. Embrace this efficient way to contribute, keeping more in your pocket while making a meaningful difference in the world.
